For all you FLA spearo's that like to come up to NC to dive. WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU........... TODAY IF POSSIBLE.
NEW PROPOSED LAW IN NC ................. 2 HOGFISH PER PERSON.
Guys, take a second to call Louis Daniels at 252-808-8013. If he isn't in, ask for David Taylor.
NC is proposing to pass a law TODAY for a 2 hogfish per person limit in NC.
This is going to crush the charter diving business here in NC.
I can't believe FL gets 5 and we have 5x the hog stock here and are only going to get 2.
You need to request a 6 - 7 per person limit. You know if you ask for 7, you will be lucky to get 5.
We have a protected hogfish stock due to the distance that has to be traveled offshore to reach them by boat.
You also know that the weather keeps most recreational anglers from running many trips.
We know that they can't be targeted by hook and line with any consistency.
We have to fight HARD and FAST on this on............... TODAY.
CALL or EMAIL anyone you know that dives in NC and have them respond...... PLEASE.
Don't wait till this evening, call now and here are a few emails to send your viewpoints.
