Got notice that the Dept of Revenue wanted to audit my 2008 fuel tax return. My return was $55 but they did a full audit.
The auditor was super nice and I did all I could to make his life easy. Had my receipts and all was good, but just a heads up that they are auditing this a lot more than in years past _________________ In the first place, God made idiots. That was for practice. Hahaha, what a joke. An audit for $55?? Man, it cost the government a heck of a lot more to do the audit than what they might have gotten back. haha, sorry you had to go through that. My dad and I keep all our reciepts just for that case. _________________ Capt Athan Parker, E.I.

I would guess the audits are very random, just your turn in the barrel. _________________ SeaHunter 35 CC

Mine was $105 and I still have not received it. Filed the first week of February. Called them last week and they said "normal" processing times were 6 to 16 weeks, but this year they are running about 16 weeks behind.

Time,
I filed later than you. Got mine in about 4 weeks. You might want to call them again. |
