Finding the Reds in less than 2 feet of water, had one swim between my legs today. Spooked about 8 twice, they are that close & can't get them to bite. Doesn't help to have a 4 ft. Black Tip cruising the area making both the Reds & me skittish ..... ICM

Was it really necessary to mention a location?
Or are you just trying to stir the pot ???
If you need the right location PM me for it ........ ICM _________________ Cape Fear Anglers.

Hell a month ago you walked all the way over to ask me a bunch of questions about our fishing, yea the 2 guys that didnt have much to say, that was me. And i post all my catchings on eastcoast and the post, so its not the location that is the secret, its the tide and bait, also where you can put the bait.
You keep using those striper plugs anyway, i have done put over 150 over-slots on the hill this year, so i dont mind a little company on the sand! _________________ Duck Unlimited

Well there was a time when U had to seriously FISH to catch a puppy drum....then came the motorium and suddenly U could catch a puppy drum just about EVERY WAY U fished....
Mirrolure and grubs when speckled trout fishing..
Crabs when sheephead fishing....
Sand-flea eaters fooling U into believing for the pomp or mullet U have always wanted...
Live shrimp and mullet minnows when flounder fishng or trout fishing..
Topwaters when U where looking for trout..
I mean them things ARE EVERYWHERE...nowday I try to avoid em...just too easy and too many of em... |

I will never get tired of sight casting to Reds. I enjoy the hunt & the challenge of catching any fish on artificials.
Kingfish, what do you say about having Mist join us in the surf, to show us what we are doing wrong ........ ......... ICM _________________ Cape Fear Anglers.
