BRIAN AND I HAVE OPTED OUT TO STAY AFTER THE BLINERS SINCE BOTH FISHERIES ARE A GAMBLE ANYWAY

THE BLUEFINS ARE 130 MILES FROM MHC AND THE FORECAST IS EL NASTY ON TOP OF THAT...AND LAST SUNDAY WE JOGGED THE 130 MILES NORTH TO PLAY THE GAME AND THE DANG FISH DIDN'T SHOW....THAT WAS A 1,000 DOLLAR GAMBLE IN ITSELF WHICH BACKFIRED ON US........SO QUITE HONESTLY....WE ARE OVER IT THIS YEAR. HOWEVER, THE BLINER BITE WAS FAIR YESTERDAY AND I MAY GET TO PUT SOME GAS IN MY TRUCK AND BUY ANOTHER LOAF OF BREAD.

BRIAN AND I SHARE A LOAF OF BREAD BETWEEN THE TWO HOUSEHOLDS TO KEEP COST OF LIVING DOWN....

YEP I'M OVER BLUEFINNING FOR A WHILE OR AT LEAST TIL THEY COME WITHIN REASONABLE PROXIMITY OF OUR 40 MILE RADAR

BLUEFINNING CAN BE TOUGH...AND IT CAN BE DANGEROUS, COSTLY,GLAMOUROUS AND PROSPEROUS.....

I NOW TAKE YOU BACK TO 2006....ABOARD THE RUN-OFF WITH BRIAN AND I....FISHING HAD BEEN SLOW THE LAST FEW DAYS....THE MARKET EXPECTATIONS WAS HIGH AND OUR BROKER TOLD US TO EXPECT OVER 7K PER FISH IF WE COULD COME TIGHT AND STAY TIGHT.

WELL....CRAP HAPPENS

I'LL LET THE VIDEO TELL THE REST OF THE STORY. GRAB A PAIR OF HEADPHONES AND CRANK IT UP!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRK_7DglnmI

I'M WAHOONBOX....SOMETIMES THINGS DON'T ALWAYS WORK OUT AS PLANNED

I know I am probably going to regret this but after watching the video I have to tell you that up North we passed fish to another boat frequently and the way we did it was to back off on the drag and hook a poly ball onto the reel lugs and throw the whole rod and reel over the side and then let the other boat just pick up the ball and push the drag back up. Seemed to make a lot more sense and very few fish were lost. I have pulled the hook on plenty of giants in my life and I feel your pain watching the rest of the video.

Anyone having problems setting up their defaults?

Dave, you are amazing being able to put something like this together, and have it all work. Thanks for all your efforts, this had to be a huge undertaking.

WOW! Thanks as always Dave!!!!!

Just don't get rid of the Fishing + Girls = Smile section!

I had an issue looking at some of the "How To's" like building a bait pen.
