Tiggere,

What browser and version are you using?

Laptop or decktop?

It is a link on the text....If you are on the text it should work.

I am not having any issue with it so I want to try to recrete what you are seeing.

Dave

on a desktop...using firefox 9.0.1...they are not working as links ...if I click on one just sitting there (with the arrow not the finger tool because the finger never pops up) it highlights the "Edit Buoy Station" in the buoy area...

The only one that works is the "View unanswered posts" and you have to be right at the bottom of the letters to make it work...

My only whine is that the view is more compressed.....doesn't use the entire width of the monitor as the old site did. But for the service you provide at no cost.....I remain grateful and not complain.

First I want to say I like the layout of the site and thank you for everything you do. When you mouse over NC Charter Boats and then mouse over some of the locations, you can not see the entire list of boats. They extend off of the bottom of the screen. Again thank you.

tiggere,

I am glad you sent me the Screen shot. I thought we were talking about at the top of the screen.

Ok....I have a good idea what that is.

I will try to fix it in the morning.

I am also aware the Uplaod in the forum does not work.

That is DNS related and as soon as everything resolves correctly I will fix it.

The old site would not work correctly on Phones and Pads either.

Once I ge tthe bugs out of this I will see about bringing the OLD Theme up to this standard and turning it back on so you cna use either one.

LOL....It is a LONG list. You should be able to mouse out...and scroll with your mouse to move it up and down.

It was the only solution I had to keep that off the front page.

You may already be aware, but if you try pressing ctrl and + at the same time it will zoom in and fill the page. Likewise, ctrl and - will zoom out. This may not be your problem, but just wanted to suggest it in case it was.

No there were not any format letters. I just checked it and registered again.
Might need set up a link to Gingrich depending on SC tonight ( I will look for it for you). If he does well we need to send him a lot of mail.

The problem there is it will throw off ReefCast, and Tides and stuff when you go to click on the maps.

Why would the entire background be white and page smaller on Internet Explorer and Firefox, but looks perfect on Google Chrome? I normally use Google Chrome to visit the site and have no complaints except Bluewater Supermap does not work with Google Chrome (did originally when I first started visiting site, but then stopped). Thanks for a great site Dave!

BTW, I have the same problem on with other sites on my computer...Google Chrome shows normal background images/colors, but others do not.

For some reason you are not rendering the css (Style Sheets)

Couple of things to check....
In IE (Let's do one browser at a time)
Top Left - > Tools->Internet Options->Security
what is your setting

Take a look at this too...
For background image not displaying properly in IE8, check the display setting of your computer.

1. Go to Control Panel

2. Click on Accessibility Options

3. Click adjust the contrast for text and colors on your screen

4. Under Display tab, make sure that the checkbox use high contrast is not checked.

If the setting of your Computer is the same as mentioned in step 4, try resetting Internet Explorer 8 and see if that helps.

A Microsoft “Fix it” is available to reset Internet Explorer automatically. You may either go for it or perform the steps manually.

Important: Please note that resetting Internet Explorer is not reversible.

Check this link for details on resetting Internet Explorer.

How to reset Internet Explorer settings

Got it....That was a tough one. One of the hard things about creating stuff like this is getting it to work across all browsers. IE does not follow the rules....and FF 100% on the rules, so getting both to work is reallly hard sometimes.....but I got it!

When I tap the NWS forecast area it redirects me to the discussion about fishing licenses. This happens when browsing with IPhone .

Give it a day or so....and if It is till not working let me know.

It may very be that the MX record on the DNS has not updated as of yet.

The only thing you should be missing is from yesterday morning around 5am till whenevre THEY came to this site.

There really is no way to retrive them....at least not easy.

You could edit your host file....

Here is an easy "How To" to follow....
