Thank you scott.
I would like to challenge ALL SKA Div. 1 fishing teams to furnish two boats for either of the M.A.D. 7 events or at least one boat.. It's because of these brave men and women we continue to have our freedoms in this great country.

Bumpo - We have 25 boats and could use about 75 more if possible, please consider taking a troop or two out that day if you are going any way, and you'll get some good fellowship and food too!

Thanks Hector

Guys we need a lot more boats. Please, if you have a boat and would consider taking some troops out fishing on June 2, please volunteer at militaryappreciationday.org

We'll take care of it from there

I just looked at the M.A.D. website sign up sheet and didn't see very many SKA teams signed up. What gives guys???
Since you can find the time and money to fish SKA events I'm sure you can find one day and a little money to show some TRUE AMERICAN HEROS your appreciation.
IF the Amanda Gail Team can furnish TWO boats for this very worthwhile event I know the rest of the SKA tournament teams can furnish at least one boat.. ?? So come on guys let's do this for some TRUE AMERICAN HEROS..

Come on Guys, I can't believe only 30 so of us have signed up for this great event. I know fuel is high but you don't have to take them offshore if you don't want to. They will be just as happy catching Spanish, Sharks or whatever on the beach. They just want to go fishing. I'm not going into what they do for us Every day of their life because we all know the sacrifice they make. So lets show them how NC fisherman, the best fisherman in the U.S. do it and put some Service Men and Women on your boat for a day and you will enjoy it more than they do, I know I have and would not miss it. Thanks to all of you that have already signed up and to the ones that sign up later. PLEASE sign up as soon as you can so they know how to plan for this. It takes a lot of time and effort to put something like this together and the earlier they know how many boats they will have, the better. Thanks again. See ya there, if some of you want to buddy up with us let me know, would love to have 2 or 3 of us running together. Lets all start praying now for light winds and calm seas. Tight lines to all and be safe.

Amanda,
You planning on heading offshore? I dont get to fish blue water much so I'm hoping to for MAD. As long as that's what the guys/gals want to do.

If the weather is good I'll go offshore, if not I'll take them on the beach.

49 volunteer boats signed up and 2 party boats hired

Please consider signing up to bring our troops fishing in June 2.

If we can get 75 boats signed up, we can get real close to our goal of having 500 troops out fishing in one day.

Going down the 19th to check and see if boat is running right. If so I'll be signing up. Either way if boat is not running right I plan on helping with kids fishing.

I'm not familiar with the Morehead area, so I'll volunteer my boat for the fall event. Has a date been selected and can you sign up now?

The Southport event is September 15 and registration will open up later in the summer

If you are not familiar with Morehead City come anyway. We will have lots of folks to show you around, buddy up with and share numbers.

A lot of people come out to MHC without knowing the area because we have so many other volunteers willing to help.

We are over 50 boats now and need another 25 but we are going to have to close registration soon as the event is just three weeks away.

If you are considering it, please sign up now so we can get troops assigned to your boat.

Thanks!
