I had the pleasure of fishing with Kevin from Wilmington on Saturday. I had been recommended to Kevin off of FPT.com (thank you very much) and we set out to teach him a thing or two and hopefully catch some fish. Well, the day started out a little slow but ended up great. I got to show Kevin how to slow troll cigar minows, troll for spanish and how to switch things up when the bite was not happening and turn things around. Kevin ended up the day by catching a couple of chopper Bluefish, a limit plus of King Mackerel and a Blackfin Tuna within 25 miles of the beach. Kevin kept a King Mackerel and the Blackfin for the dinner table and released the rest. Thanks for a great trip Kevin and I look forward to that shallow water Redfish trip in the future!!
