|
|
Starting again for 2012. I will custom make live bait and dead bait rigs for Kings, Dolphin etc. for practically cost. Why?? I love to tie rigs as a past time. The rigs/ties will be stealthy and strong and KMT quality. Most rigs run $1.95, skirts etc. extra. In stores these run $3.50 up, but I am not in it for the money.
They're all individually hand tied..
The wire will not have finger pricking barbs left at the end of the wire ties.
Basic Rig will consist of #4 wire or seven strand, 2 #4 trebles 4x strong, and swivel. Again, I will make to your specs.
The most popular rig is;
#4 trebles spaced 5 1/2 inches apart with # 4 wire.
#4 leader wire at 24 inches from the Spro swivel.
OPTIONS;
.Ribbon rigs (with stainless silver wire and silver # 4 strength hooks).
. #4 or #5 wire or 7 strand
. #2, 4 or 6 Eagle Claw Razor sharp Bronze Trebles
. live bait hook
. skirts
. etc.
Contact Miles @www.rodhogfishing@yahoo.com or cell 252-236-2450
The 43 lb King came off a Ribbon Rig & the 45 lb King and the 73 lb HOO below were caught on a basic rig .....

Gents,
Had a chance to link up with Miles from "Rod Hog" Fishing Team for some hand tied King Rigs. See Miles has a hobbie for tying live bait king rigs and I decided to help him out with his passion. Sure enough, about a week later had a 100 rigs show up at my house via UPS. These were a variety of hand tied rigs from skirted, unskirted single to doubles.
All I can say, each rig is meticulously tied and got them all for 1/4 or less than you can buy them. If you are like me, where you can tie rigs, but just dont have the time to re stock your tournament bag, or you need an example on excellant tying, Miles can set you up. I doubt anyone is going to beat his prices or the quality of these rigs.
Miles, thanks again for the great rigs and such a reasonable price. We are now stocked up for this season!
Gents, if you need Rigs, Miles, "Rod Hog Fishing Team" is the man to contact. _________________ Scott Zimmerman

BUMP, BUMP, BUMP!!!!
I just received a shipment of Miles' custom rigs and I must say that the man can flat out hand tie a live bait rig!
I'm an occasional tournament fisherman and I had planned on using Miles' rigs to prefish and fun fish with this spring and summer. I'm the type of person that is satisfied by no less than hand tying my own rigs come tournament time, but after careful examination of Miles' rigs, I'm not sure I can tie one any better.... A true testament to craftsmanship......
Besides, Miles said if I lose a fish on one of his hand tied rigs while fishing a tournament, he'd cover my entry fee..... Can't beat that!!! |

Miles that is a good shot of the lamp shade...it would make a cool fisherman's Christmas tree for the holidays.
If it falls over on you they will need the jaws of life to get you out! _________________ Cape Horn 31

If you look close at that shot you can see how many hook holes are in it around the bottom. These rigs will not have finger sticking barbs left on the wire..

Good thing you don't have cats.
I walked out in the yard one morning and had left
a cigar minnow on my light line on the boat.
Well a cat had hit my light line while I was sleeping,
and I forgot to set the clicker.He peeled off about 40 feet,
wrapped around a tree and lost a chunk of fur.
He musta been a nice one! _________________
