I can't seam to find out how to track these bills online or anywhere else for that matter. Every time I tell someone about what we are trying to do they ask" well, where are the bills at in congress now?" I just reply "I'm not sure." I would like to know the exact time lines on the Magnuson-Stevens Act and also, where are the current flexibility bills (House Bill 1584 and Senate Bill 1255) and what is the process of their future progression.

thanks,
scott

From what I am told, the bills are in committee at this point. I know that Sen. Burr's website has a legislation tracker that you can type the bill no. in and it will bring it up for you. As to the status, I'm not sure if it gives you that.

I just checked on the link on Sen. Burr's website. The Sen. bill has been read on the floor twice and sent to committee. The House Res. has been sent to committee and then again sent to sub-committee.
