Our charter fishing trips in Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach are producing some very nice fish. We have been busy running trips and have enjoyed the nice calm seas we had last week, and we had a great time putting our customers on fish! The calm ocean days are priceless and the pics and smiles will speak for them selves!

Inshore - Down south in BUZZARDS BAY the redfish action has been strong. There is a large school hanging out in the second bay near the old inlet and many smaller schools in the third bay. Still Creek is producing some nice reds on a falling tide. The speckled trout are also biting well near the rocks. In the Wrightsville beach area the flounder and red fish are on fire! Capt. Trevor has had many double digit flounder trips and the larger flounder are really showing up in numbers. The reds are holding tight to structure and we have had many break offs due to large oversized reds coming along and taking us for a ride! Try structure and the creeks with a lot of tidal flow (cooler water) for the reds. As usual Berkley Gulp has been a top producer along with live bait.

Offshore - The Spanish are near the beach and are scattered one minute and schooled tight the next. Look for bait suspended in the water column (be sure to pull a planer through it!) or fish breaking the surface. The tide lines near the inlets have been producing nice Spanish and are a good place to begin your search. The King Mackerel have finally taken up residence in the usual spots that are 5-10 miles off of the beach. If the wrecks and AR's are full of boats venture off to a near by ledge for best results. Live bait has been doing well but the dead cigars have been catching the majority of the fish.

If you would like to experience some of this awesome action give us a call. We have lots of good dates available!
