Mother nature was very gracious Friday and Saturday and the Kings were chomping!!!

Friday I had Dennis and his son Paul onboard for a trip we had to cancel the weekend before. Left the docks around 0700 and headed offshore looking for warm water. I found 70°F water about 28 miles off the beach (thanks to I-map) and soon found the fish. The action was non-stop all morning with several double hookups, Kings skying on baits and two very happy customers. I started out trolling ballyhoo until I got a couple of quick knock downs, then swithched to frozen cigars. Dennis and Paul took 8 Kings home and we released another 18 or so.

Saturday I had Jessica and Matt aboard for another day of deep sea fishing. Jessica had given this trip to Matt for his 20th birthday and I don't think that either was dissapointed. We headed back out to the same area I had fished the day before and the fish were still there. Once again we managed to catch over 20 kings in just a few hours. They kept six fish to take back home to SC and released the rest. Over 40 Kings were caught in two days. Find some warm water over a good ledge and catch em up!!!

Got to love a girl that will kiss a fish!!!! Jimmy Houston ain't got nothing on this girl!!!

Great catch and report Brent

I looked at the SST Charts Thursday afternoon and saw 3 big temp. breaks within 20 miles the warmest was a 79 degree warm water spot showed up about 8 miles SW of the Tower. You find the warm water now the Kings will be there in droves and ocassionally a Mahi.
