|

Just checking to see if anybody has gone through lockwood folly inlet recently. Having 'polished my prop' going in and out of there in past years I am looking to try and avoid that this year.
Any information would be appreciated.
See? We can learn from our mistakes |

Went through there several times last week at various tides and as Capt. Keith said, no problems. _________________

Yep, its good to go. No problems here, even at low tide. Water is real easy to read in that inlet. _________________ Go Heels!!!!! |

| No problems here as well. Went through Saturday afternoon around 4 pm and the water depth was between 6 and 7 foot at the shallowest point. Very easy to read indeed. |

Stay to the reds at 2 and 4. Bar starting to come across at 1.
Went out and in both Friday and Saturday, no significant problem high or low tide. But one caveat: there was a standing roll wave between 2 and 4 both afternoons (about mid-tide) that will wake you up quickly if you punch it at speed! Friday morning there also were breakers (curling breakers, not just white water) just SW of #2 ... |
