Just checking to see if anybody has gone through lockwood folly inlet recently. Having 'polished my prop' going in and out of there in past years I am looking to try and avoid that this year.

Any information would be appreciated.

See? We can learn from our mistakes Very Happy

The Inlet is good 4 feet at low water. Stay to the reds at 2 and 4. Bar starting to come across at 1.

Went through there several times last week at various tides and as Capt. Keith said, no problems.

Yep, its good to go. No problems here, even at low tide. Water is real easy to read in that inlet.

No problems here as well. Went through Saturday afternoon around 4 pm and the water depth was between 6 and 7 foot at the shallowest point. Very easy to read indeed.

Stay to the reds at 2 and 4. Bar starting to come across at 1.

Went out and in both Friday and Saturday, no significant problem high or low tide. But one caveat: there was a standing roll wave between 2 and 4 both afternoons (about mid-tide) that will wake you up quickly if you punch it at speed! Friday morning there also were breakers (curling breakers, not just white water) just SW of #2 ... Shocked
