Went out with the hardcore crew a few miles past 23 mile rock in 100-110' depth and hit a couple ledges. 70-80' viz, some current, not too bad. 72 deg thermo about 25'. ledge was loaded up with fish, had an awesome day. ran 30kts out and back, beautiful ocean! brought home some meat, 1 bug, 1 hog, the usual suspects. Of course the big one got away, Im coming back to his neighborhood again in a few weeks. Jelly fish were so thick I was marking them on the finder on one spot, never seen em quite so thick. moved a mile or so....so did they, Only exposed skin was under my chin and sure enough I got lit up.
Trolled between dives for 2hrs and didnt even get a sniff. oh well, fish box looked nice anyway.

Were they the small 1" with 2" tenticels?
They lit me up 2 weeks ago top to bottom, 80'.
Ran on out and lost them.

You probably already know this but just in case you didn't, vinegar will pretty much knock out the sting. I try to keep a bottle of it on the boat just in case somebody gets lit up by a jelly fish.

I will have to remember the vinegar thing for next time. Its better than giving CC a golden shower on his chin.
