Greetings to all, I am small business owner based out of Gold Hill, NC. Business is good so I am expanding and need to hire at least one person ASAP. This job does require traveling, mostly in the Mid Atlantic and NE. With the occasional Mid West job thrown in there just for the heck of it. This is an electronics based business and we work in the hospitality industry. We setup satellite dishes, pull cable and setup MATV distribution systems. I furnish the tools and the training. This is a technical job. Hotel room is provided. Pay is based on experience. We work 7 days a week while on the road. Most jobs are 14-21 days. If you cannot be away from your family please do not apply. You must have a DL and transportation to my house. You must be able to pass a drug test. You must be able to pass a background check. I forwarded this to a couple unemployed people I know, can't say I'm surprised they weren't interested though... Sad but true...

I guess it is much easier to sit at home and collect unemployent for 99 weeks than have to travel and actually WORK...

If I wasn't a facility engineer for a company in Albemarle already I'd be interested. However if I hear of anyone who would be a good candidate i'll send them your way. Good luck, but truthfully you ought to be having many applicants seeking this position with the economy of Stanly County.

It is tough finding good people! I started my business 3 years ago and never had to hire anyone after my start up! Its a fairly easy job, you just have to like traveling! I know its not for everyone but I thought I would have a few more interested people. I haven't advertised anywhere else because I wanted to give the FPT members a chance first. Its a great site and I have met some good people on here. I am going to start branching out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for the advice and help.

I know someone that would be good for the job but unfortunately as a young adult he did something stupid and has a felony record.

I have the perfect person for ya, my stepson. Only problem is he is 20, turning 21 in March. He is a high school graduate with a part time job, looking for a full time work. He is single with very flexible schedule. He is clean cut, clean background, driving record and drug free. He is a hard worker when pointed in the right direction. Shoot me a PM if your interested.
