Just wanted to thank Junkyard for donating his time to help teach some of the new Marines in the area how to enjoy the wonderful salt water fishery we have in the area. I could not help but to see the hunger and enthusiasm in their eyes, I think we all can remember at sometime when we have had the same when we were learning a new technique. We will be working in the future to expand events like this since we have finished our expansion. The Marine Corps Exchange thanks you.

When is "take a marine fishing" day? I know there isa better name than that...at any rate want to get it on the calendar so I can participate this year...

I am assuming you are referring to Military Appreciation Day which is June 2 in Morehead City and Sept. 15th in Southport. You can go to the MAD site at www.militaryappreciationday.org and register as a boat owner volunteer
