Since I have been stuck on the beach again and looks like the wind is not my friend, I am sharing this video that a friend sent to me. The next time your in the stream and the wind kicks up , try and remember what these guys must have felt like. Pretty amazing!!!

MidNight,
Me too, hurt's alot more now I'm afraid. Funny thing about being a "young man", you alway's feel like you've got something to prove. Glad I got that over with many year's back. 33 footer's in an 82 foot boat, yep definitley help's to be young. Frank |

Coast Guard SAR missions in Alaska and on west coast, then crab fishing in the Bering. 40-92 foot boats. 40 plus waves. took a 56 degree roll one time. Boat was designed to take a 58 and still be able to right itself.
Frank, I hear ya on being a young man. Only problem, is my mind still thinks I am!!! |

MidNight,
Yup, that's what still get's me in trouble today. My brain evidently think's I'm still 18, must be the stiff grey matter!!! It's cool though, I plan on "living till I die". Never did the Alaska tour (although I tried hard to), but the hurricane season on the East Coast was cool!!! Lost 19 mile's "head too" off Diamond Shoal's, twin screw with 1800 hp. Awesome time's, just don't want to do it again "this" week!!!! Frank |

I think I'll skip the North Sea cruise on the Ohshitski Maru. Right now I need dramamine and a seat belt on my office chair. _________________ 2003 19 Proline CC, 115 HP Merc |
