Congratulations to Jr Hay for landing the first king of the year for him and Kure beach pier today. It weighted in at just over 16lbs

By the way Oak Island Pier still doesn't have any. Although I did see something swirl on a bait while I was out there.

Kure pier got another king today. A little over 15lbs. That put them with two on the deck, had one more pick a bait, and caught 4 chopper blues.

Oh yeah its elbow to elbow there were only 5 kingers on OKIP today! But if you ask me id rather see it packed more baits more fish caught!

| Man,I remember kingin on the old wood Mercers pier when I was 13-16,some Damn good times,elbow to elbow,toe to toe,with the oldtimers,days I will never forget.good times........goodtimes......salute..to you die hard pierers! |

That is what we have been thinking but after that last cold snap it put the water around Seaview down to 66 degrees but it has warmed up to 67 degrees. With this weeks hotter weather we are thinking that Seaview should put a king on the desk this week.
