With this full week of warm weather, and a Southernly Breeze all week I am betting this is the week and weekend that the Cobia will make a showing in Wilmington-MHC area.
I heard that 2 had been caught off of peir around Emerald Isle.

| think you may be right water was 65 to 66 about a mile off of atlantic beach, and with this warm up this week should bring them in |

W.B is at 67.5 right now. Will probably be 70 by Friday!!! May skip a wedding on Saturday if that's the case!!!

| Cant wait for you guys to start circling me when i reach for my gaff/castnet! I remember about 5 years ago when it was peaceful fishing minus the sharks. Im just kidding, leave me a few out there |

Tons of bait in the 12-23 mile range and WT was 70.1f about 45 minutes ago off CBI.
May 15th has always been the start of the run. May 16th 2008 was unreal, and that is all I am saying about that..........

Hope so … if this wind kicks up we will be hunting for them instead of draggin offshore.
