Checked ammo prices lately ?
My supplier, Palmetto State Armory is out of most all 223/5.56
and what's left is up from what I bought over Christmas.
Is dis bad news a precurser of more bad news (obummer re-elected) ? |

| Yup. It's comming. And the crazy thing is when I was in Ontario, Canada in March the Outdoor Stores (Sail, BPS) had more ammo than I have seen in years in every caliber you can think of and at similar or lower prices to the USA. Winchester Supreme 3" 12ga #4 Steel shot was $11.99 a box. Xpert in the same flavor was $8.99. |

| From what I have seen I am guessing prices on 5.56 are up 20% in the last 4-5 months |

Buy your equipment off ebay, craigs list or some other forum. Saves a little money up front. Rocky Point Auto parts has a good selection of powders, primers, bullets, and brass.

Fish,
Fears of Obama re-election running high. Ruger (RGR) and Smith & Wesson (SWHC) stock prices almost gone parabolic. Some farmers around here buy it by the pallet. They don't use that much during hunting season. Hmmmn, wonder what they are doing with it???
Personally, I like to keep at least a couple thousand rounds of each caliber I shoot on hand. Check with SGammo.com they usually have good prices but supply is running low.

I think you hit the nail on the head. When he was first elected seems the only ammo I could find was shotgun shells and .22's |

Let me preface by saying that I am not a supporter of obama but I have to ask....Why all the fervor over ammo because of a possible re-election. His business policies are ruining our country, but as for gun control, he has only lessened gun regulations, not made them stricter. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Is it just worry over revolution and general public outcry? I, like everyone else, expected gun laws to get stricter under this admin, but it just has not happened. Thoughts?

My thoughts are that he wouldn't wanna pass a gun law in his first term if he wants to be around four more years. Now if re elected, he'll push for it the first couple years. He tends to tell us one thing then do the other. Prime example would be the silly accusations that he's making everyday on Romney to get re elected. Why dont he mean what he says instead of pointing the finger at someone else? There's also no need to turn this election into a race issue. Just my thoughts and prolly way off. |

It's an election year. I'm having to buy ammo by the pallet to keep prices the same. Even then, I'm selling it so fast , that the price goes up on every order. BTW, I have plenty of bulk 5.56 for sale in 1,000 round loose cases. All clean brass FMJ.

You got any 62 gr "green tip" 5.56 in Federal in 1,000 rd boxes? If so, PM me price. I've been buying most of my ammo online.
