Left the dock from MHC and worked my way out to the Big Rock, one mahi in the boat in the first 15 minutes. Bait was very thin and no temp break at all. Wind started to pick up around 10am and we deceided to head south through the Swans' Hole, nothing. After getting beat up in 5-7' seas, 20-30knt winds out of the SW. We started making way toward WR2 for some grouper. That didn't work out very well, 2.3knt current so by 3pm we made our way in to Southport. The trip all in all was ok, but no bait, the wind got pretty strong by mid-day and only one fish in 210 miles. The boat is back now in Southport till Nov. _________________ Capt.
