ON FRIDAY WE DID A DIFFERENT TRIP, WITH HUNTING STARTING OUT THE TRIP. WE WERE GOING FOR MARSH HENS IN THE BACKWATER. THEY WERE PLENTYFUL WITH THE TIDES BEING EXTRA HIGH. WE KILLED 12 IN THE FIRST COUPLE HOURS. THEY ARE A LOT OF FUN IF YOU HAVEN"T NEVER DID THIS BEFORE. THEY ARE LIKE SHOOTING PHESENT EXCEPT FROM A BOAT. THEY FLUSH THE SAME THOUGH. WE BURNT UP A COUPLE BOXES OF SHELLS AND DECIDED TO QUIT AND GO SEE IF WE COULD GET A SPEC. TROUT OR FLOUNDER. THINGS WAS SLOW FOR WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR, BECAUSE OF THE LIZARD FISH BITTING OFF OUR GRUBS. WE DID MANAGE TO GET A COUPLE FLOUNDER TO GO ALONG WITH THE DOZEN MARSH HENS. LOTS SHOTTING AND CASTING BOTH. BUT A LOT OF FUN ON THE WATER BACK IN THE MARSH AND RIVERS. IF YOU WANT TO BURN A FEW SHELLS IN YOUR TRUSTED GUN AND CAST LOTS OF GRUBS FOR FLOUNDER, SPES.
