No screws or gluing down. This is the best CC mat on the market today. Heavy enough that it wont blow away while travelling. Mine stays put for the 14 hour pull to Biloxi. Had mine for the past 2 seasons.
Measures 17 1/4 X 32 1/4 X 1 1/2 inches and it is blue. Go to www.seashocks.com to read up about it. This company makes the padding inside the NFL helmets.

Will it make me taller?  Just playing... sorta. I do have to stand on the foot rest to see above our console at times when I'm driving. (i'm 5'3) Good luck with the mat. I know sore feet, arches, and heels tooo well after a day of fishing this would be nice to enjoy on the ride in for sure.

You can build a box out of starboard to go where you normally stand. Make it to fit the space and be the same width (side to side) as the seat.
You won't regret it.
