Thanks Dave..Must say that our numbers we used in Florida came from Florida Offshore. Com Supermap...Just do not leave home without it... Very Happy

Dave it is not my Tournament ,,,,,, It is a Tournament that came from the ideas of a few more folks that wanted to see a change in how some of the Tournaments were done.
We took the approach that" less" can become "more" instead of more causing it to become less.
1st we found an awesome place to hold the event New River Marina / Power Marine Outfitters They are 1 of the largest Yamaha / Contender/ Nautic Star Dealers in the Country
Then we started looking for sponsors So far we have found some Awesome Sponsors like Yamaha, Sea Tow ,Ocean Tamer Fish-Ng, Blue Water Candy, Barefoot Fishing & a lot more . We were not looking for money just some product so that the Fisherman can say I won something.
Then we made the Tournament affordable. $100 with a $50 TwT & a $50 Grouper TwT
Then we wanted every boat to have a real chance to win . So we put into place a check out & a 30 mile north & 30 mile south of New River Inlet Boundry. Mid October there are big Kingfish anywhere from the Sea Bouy to offshore ......... The Family on a 16ft Carolina Skiff can be kingfishing in 10 minutes after check out . Last Year Hector on the Whatever caught a 45lb Kingfish 3 miles off the beach at a place called Diver's Rock I have caught a 38 there also . So now we are competitive with anyone and have not spent $1000 to have a Great Day of Fishing
Then we are having a great meal for the participants during the awards and may I add at no cost. We are busting our butts to try and make sure everyone walks away from this with a smile on their face.
Most of all during the sad economic times we are experiencing today the Kids are who suffers most. We are going to do our best so when they awaken on Christmas Morning they will still know that there is a Santa Clause except he rides a Center Console and not a Red Sleigh
