Went yesterday with my buddy Gene, fresh cut Mullet & eternal optimism.
Hit the shoals with the water temp at 38, the sun peaking out from behind clouds & the dream of finding large schools of Reds.
Anchoring was tough, the ocean was calm & my waders are leaking.
We are the only 2 people for miles determined, driven, obsessed to catch a fish.
We searched for over 2 hours, returned home empty handed but felt renewed & rewarded for going. Now that my friends is a pregame warm up ......... ICM |
