Folks, there will be a fundraising event for Capt. John Pagenstecher at "The Last Resort" in Carolina Beach on Saturday, February 4 from 4 to 9. Capt.John has been diagnosed with three types of cancer, one of which is making his bones extremely brittle. Because of this he will most likely NEVER be able to set foot on a boat again, taking away his livelyhood. I'm not a doctor so please don't ask me for all the details of his illness. We just ask that you come out and support a generally great guy as well as friend to many. There will be BBQ plates for $6.00 and I believe some items offered for a silent auction. I don't have all the details but I do know it's happenning, so once again, please come out and show your support. Thanks.
Also, if anyone has anything they would like to contribute for the auction, please contact me.
