Which one??? Staying a week there with some of the wife's friends from NH (don't hold it against me....7 days and I'm sending them back!). 3rd week in July....and they want to try their hand fishing in the big pond.

Which head boat do ya'll recommend in that area?

Hurricane fleet is about your only voice. How many of them are there? At least sea bass should be open then.

Murrells Inlet has one that is pretty good. There are a few good charter captains in that area too. The Flounder bite is HOT there right now. If you go that route, Wally Lee is your man.

Newsaltfishing1, how many are going fishing? If cost is not a problem would be glad to take you all. We have 3 boats that can take up to six people each. This would be a lot funner for you all to do a Private Charter. We could more that just bottom fish. Give me a call if you want to talk about it.

Captain Dick's out of Crazy sister Marina in Murrels Inlet is a great boat. The Voyager fleet is ok but I've fished them both and Capt. Dicks is the most professional. If you have the ambition, try the overnight trip, lot more bang for your buck.

i've been out with voyager on 2x 24hr trips and did the whole boat did extremely well both times. A bit pricey at $220 for a 24hr vs $170 with Capt Dave but I'd always recommend them to MB goers
