Finally able to get offshore with a charter Friday after having to cancel four over the last month due to weather. Have had a lot of successful inshore charters and a few king charters over the last couple of months but getting offshore has been a challenge to say the least. Left the dock at 5:30am and headed towards the
Rise. Had Dave on board an Air Force Major and it was just he and I because his two other guys cancelled at the last minute. Put the lines in at the Rise and trolled towards the Swansboro Hole and then north to 500 line. Ended up with two nice wahoo in the box. Had a couple of wahoo bite offs and one pulled hooked. Got wrapped up one time with small dolphin but could not get a hook up just bite offs. Did not see or hear of any tuna, water still real warm 78-79 degrees. Sounded like the guys were catching some kings on the Rock but we did not see any where we were. All in all a good day and one beautiful day on the water. Finally have a new camera so hopefully will be able to post some pictures again.

Nice wahoo!!

Bought me a fighting chair for the boat. Look forward to using it this winter on some blurfins. I think it is going to be a good addition for fighting larger fish and for those customers that like fighting a fish from a chair.
